Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02. This solicitation is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332323, with a small business size standard of 500 Employees. The FSC/PSC is Z2PZ. The Dayton VA Medical Center is seeking to purchase security gate and fence repair. The following Wage Determination applies to this procurement: Wage Determination: 2015-4731 Revision No.: 19 Date of Revision: 12/27/2022 Question Deadline May 11, 2023 at 4:00 PM Scope: The facility entry gates at the North, South Liscum, and Gettysburg entrances have damage caused by vehicles. Fencing along Liscum Road are also damaged. The contractor shall make the repairs listed under the section Specific Tasks. Specific Tasks: o Replace damaged enclosed track entry gates o Fabricate a repair on an entry enclosed track gate o Repair perimeter fencing o Damaged gates and fence shall be removed and hauled off by contractor o The southern gate on Liscum Dr. shall be removed and replaced o The entry gate on South Gettysburg Ave shall be removed and replaced o The gates shall be removed, and any posts shall be repaired as needed o Gates shall be hung using existing hardware and to the existing gate operator o Fence will be repaired at the gate entries and on Liscum Dr. on the fence line between the entries o All fence repairs shall use existing materials stored on-site provided by the VA o **NOTE** Any damage to gate operators shall not be completed without a contract modification or credit card purchase as damage cannot be determined until gates are repaired Other Pertinent Information: o Traffic control will be coordinated with VA Police Service o All work shall be completed within 90 days of award and conducted during the hours of 7:30AM to 5:00PM Sunday through Saturday
