Request for Professional Services Qualifications (QBS): Armory Arch Stucco & Curtainwall Replacement First published Friday, April 28, 2023 Project Description The east and west ends of the Armory barrel vault are in a state of significant disrepair and are deteriorated needing repair in some areas This project shall evaluate the existing curtainwall system and stucco at each end of the barrel vault and design replacement with new and more energy efficient systems. Care will be taken to maintain the historic nature and aesthetic value of the building. The project will include evaluation of the existing and immediately adjacent masonry to determine if repairs are needed. External insulation and Finishing Systems, EIFS, will not be considered as an option in lieu of Stucco. All new framing and substrate will be installed for the stucco to be placed.
