Baltimore, Maryland 21201 Email: Brittany.Owens1@maryland.gov Tel.: (410) 767-0035 The Maryland Office of the Inspector General for Education (OIGE) by way of the State of Maryland Department of Education (MSDE) is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) to obtain general contracting services to perform an interior office renovation at the Maryland Office of the Inspector General for Education (OIGE), located at 100 Community Place Crownsville, MD 21032. Contractor responsibilities to include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Provide all required materials and tools to complete the project, in accordance with the scope of work. 2. Demo and dispose of one (1) drywall partition in the conference room. 3. Relocate one (1) light switch to another wall within the conference room. 4. Relocate one (1) existing frame, door, and hardware to another location within the same hallway. 5. Build one (1) new drywall partition (approximately 12 linear feet in open space). 6. Remove one (1) door, frame, and hardware, and close the opening with drywall. 7. Install the existing door, frame, and hardware on the new drywall partition. 8. Install one (1) new panic bar/exit device supplier by OIGE. 9. Rework the ceiling grids and tile throughout, as necessary. 10. Replace damaged ceiling tiles as necessary. 11. Relocate one (1) ceiling vent and install two (2) new ceiling vents. 12. Remove one door and existing framing from the supply room and refinish the entrance. 13. Patchwork floor with new carpet where walls are removed; carpet supplied by OIGE. 14. Install new cove base on new walls and all disturbed areas. 15. Prepare all surfaces as necessary. 16. Install one (1) new hollow metal full glass door, door frame, side lites, and transom. 17. Install security keypad entry with a camera, monitor, and remote release. 18. Remove approximately 6 linear feet of drywall partition near the copier area. 19. Remove the door, relocate, and install it on the new wall. 20. Patch, skim, prep, and paint the walls throughout the entire suite. 21. Move, cover, protect, and reset all furniture. 22. Transport any debris for offsite disposal. 23. Clean up work areas
