Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort Meade, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Unrestricted CO & Combustible Alarm System Installation Black Hills Health Care System Fort Meade VA is required to replace the Boiler Plant Building Hazardous Gas Detection System, in the Fort Meade boiler plant (Bldg 137). This shall be an industrial-type system, reporting though a Simplex alarm panel. (VA Design Guide 3.9). This alarm system warns the operator of possible hazardous conditions by alarming when measurable combustibles are indicated and by providing a second alarm when combustibles reach a dangerous level. This system shall be installed by the contractor and verified by POC that it meets the VA requirements and communicates with the existing fire alarm panel (Simplex). Locations and number of CO and combustible sensors are defined by the VA Design Manual. Provide CO & combustible alarm system in accordance with the Statement of Work.
