As of July 21, 2023, project was awarded to Shellinger Construction Co. Inc. - Main Office, awarded amount is $12,876,390.25 The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to make such changes in quantities and work as may be necessary or desirable to complete, in a satisfactory manner, the original intended work. Unless otherwise specified in the Contract, the Owner's Engineer or RPR shall be and is hereby authorized to make, in writing, such inscope alterations in the work and variation of quantities as may be necessary to complete the work, provided such action does not represent a significant change in the character of the work. For purpose of this section, a significant change in character of work means: any change that is outside the current contract scope of work; any change (increase or decrease) in the total contract cost by more than 25%; or any change in the total cost of a major contract item by more than 25% Reconstruct Runway 17/35, Parallel Taxiway A, and Connectors; Electrical Improvements - Runway and Taxiway lighting, windcones, and PAPI's; Pavement Maintenance - Runway 4-22, Taxilanes, and Aprons; Construct / Extend Taxilanes; and Construct Apron Expansion. This work is to include all tools, equipment, materials, and labor to complete this project.
