The scope of work consists of and includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, preparation of right-of-way, traffic control, construction of two pad sites with foundation and utility for water and sewer services, electric and communication below and underground to connect to existing city water production infrastructure. Foundations will support two new hypochlorite building and associated equipment provided by Utility Service Co., Inc. (USCI). Contractor shall work closely with Utility Service Co., Inc (USCI) on all aspect of the new hypochlorite building. Including any other work deemed necessary by the City. The opinion of probable construction cost for the overall project is $591,000. All of the above done in accordance with TxDOT and NCTCOG specifications with the City's Addenda and as per instructions of the City. All construction sequencing and barricading done according to the city standards and responsibility of the awarded vendor. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of amount bid and a two (2) year Maintenance Bonds in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) or ten (10%) percent of the amount of the contract, whichever is greater, but not to exceed one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount, from a Surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, within fifteen (15) days of the bid award.
