Renovation of a military facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
general the work consists of replacing thirteen electrical panels, replacement of the fire pump service disconnect, and circuit breakers require setting changes. Additionally, circuit breaker testing and equipment cleaning will be performed on switchgear, transfer switches, power distribution units (PDUs), and other identified service panels. New arc flash warning labels shall be attached to new and existing equipment. Coordination with utility for power outages is required. The project will take place on all levels of the building. Tommy G Thompson Center was constructed in 1996, has 133,016 square feet on eight floors and an underground parking ramp.
