Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

This improvement shall consist of the removal of the existing surface course through cold milling to the depth indicated, hot-mix asphalt patching, placement of 2-1/2"binder to establish a satisfactory cross slope and placement of 1-1/2"HMA surface course (on Broadway, Cora, Stone and Wallace), as well as all collateral work as directed by the Engineer. Washington Street shall consist of the above except that there will be 4" HMA binder and 2"HMA surface course All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or a Bid Bond in the amount of FIVE percent (5%) of the Base Bid, payable to the City of Joliet. Bidders are required to be pre-qualified through the Illinois Department of Transportation. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that their pre-qualification information is provided to the City of Joliet Purchasing Division prior to the bid opening. The City of Joliet reserves the right to reject any and all bids, parts of any and all bids, or to waive technical errors or omissions in bids.
