The Town of Banff Water Services Team is soliciting proposals for the Bow River Siphon Riffle Project, which requires the construction of a riffle in the Bow River just downstream of the Muskrat Street Pedestrian Bridge to protect and cover two exposed sanitary pipelines. The detailed project requirements are further defined in this document. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Site preparation, including installation of signage and traffic controls, vegetation protection, Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) measures and steel framed rig mats in access routes and laydown area. Material hauling to laydown area. Riffle construction, according to the Construction Sequence presented on Drawing R4 of the attached IFC Drawings, Schedule D. Cleaning and restoration of site.
