CR#: 2130907 Each bid must be accompanied by a non-collusive bidding certification and a certified check of the bidder in the amount of 5% of the bid (made payable to the Town of Alden) or a bid bond prepared on the form of bid bond acceptable to the Town of Alden, duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Town of Alden in the amount of 5% of the bid. Such checks or bid bonds will be returned to all except the three lowest bidders promptly after the opening of the bids, and the remaining checks or bid bonds will be returned promptly after the Town of Alden and the accepted bidder have executed the Contract, or if no award has been made within 60 days of bid opening, upon demand of the bidder at any time thereafter, so long as he has not been notified of the acceptance of his bid. Installation of 6,123 lineal feet of 8" water line along Cayuga Creek Road as well as installation of 316 lineal feet of 8" water line along Three Rod Road all within the Town of Alden in accordance with all project documents and design plans. Contract Term: 90 days Question Deadline 02/11/2026 Any explanation desired by a Bidder regarding the meaning or interpretation ofthe Contract Documents shall be requested in writing and be received by the Engineer at least seven days prior to the bid due date.
