Site work and paving for a road / highway in Monte Rio, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of August 2, 2023, project was awarded to Ghilotti Construction Company, awarded amount is $3,086,754.60.** Project Location: The project sites are located on Moscow Road PM 10.84, 12.55 & 12.57 The work to be done and referred to herein is in Sonoma County, State of California, of installation of measures to retain and replace roadway slides at three locations on Moscow Road. At Moscow Road PM 10.84, installation of a new 50-foot reinforced concrete bridge will restore natural drainage patterns while repairing the section of failed roadway. At Moscow Road PM 12.55, the repair will be construction of a new, approximately 8-foot high (by 60-foot long) 'grade beam' type retaining wall along the downslope side of the road. At Moscow Road PM 12.57, the repair will be construction of a new, approximately 14-foot high (by 85-foot long) 'grade beam' type retaining wall along the downslope side of the road. Liquidated damages in the amount of $5,200 will be assessed for each and every calendar days delay in finishing the work in excess of the number of working days prescribed in the contract.
