The City of Sioux Falls, SD, requests formal bids for 2023 Landfill Gas System Improvements Construction. The Sioux Falls Regional Sanitary Landfill, hereinafter called "the Landfill" is located at 26750 464th Avenue, County Highway 148, Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57106. Existing Facilities: the following facilities are located at the Landfill and must remain in operation at all times during construction; no modifications to the existing operations will be permitted without prior written approval from OWNER. The location and relationship of these facilities on site is shown on the Contract Drawings. 1. Municipal Solid Waste working face 2. Construction and Demolition (C&D) debris disposal 3. Appliance recycling area 4. Compost pad 5. Brush area (wood waste area) 6. Used tire storage area 7. Animal carcass disposal area 8. Electronics drop-off trailer 9. Asbestos Area 10. Leachate Loadout Area 11. Scale House 12. Maintenance Buildings 13. Leachate and Landfill Gas Collection System 14. Landfill Gas Flare 15. Landfill Gas Compressor Building 16. Leachate Ponds 17. Residential Public Drop-off Area Project Summary: The work covered by this contract includes, but is not limited to, furnishing and paying for all (except where noted otherwise in the drawings or Project Specifications) materials, labor, transportation, and services necessary to construct the 2023 Landfill Gas System Improvement Construction Project. The City of Sioux Falls reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of Sioux Falls, SD. The commencement of construction, but no later than December 31, 2023, and fully complete for final payment by January 12, 2024.
