The City of Sioux Falls, SD, requests formal bids for Sanitary Landfill Building Improvements Fiber Communication Extension. The City of Sioux Falls reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of Sioux Falls, SD. Location: County Hwy 148 / 267th Street / 41st Street 464th Avenue (Landfill Entrance Road) to Ellis Road in Minnehaha County and the City of Sioux Falls, South Dakota For all project work, excluding the fiber optic cable (microfiber) work: The Contractor shall commence work under this contract and fully complete all work associated with the project within 28 consecutive calendar days and by November 18, 2022. The Contractor further agrees to pay as liquidated damages the amount specified in the City of Sioux Falls' current edition of the General Conditions for Public Improvements, Section 8.10, for each calendar day beyond 28 consecutive calendar days and beyond November 18, 2022 that the work remains uncompleted. For the fiber optic cable (microfiber) work, within the installed innerduct (microduct) and junction boxes: The Contractor shall commence work under this contract and fully complete all work associated with the project within 14 consecutive calendar days and by December 30, 2022. The Contractor further agrees to pay as liquidated damages the amount specified in the City of Sioux Falls' current edition of the General Conditions for Public Improvements, Section 8.10, for each calendar day beyond 14 consecutive calendar days and beyond December 30, 2022 that the work remains uncompleted.
