As of June 28, 2023 the project was awarded to Gullquist Construction, awarded amount is $27600. Bids not so marked may be rejected, if opened, inadvertently as a result. The scope of work for this project is to include the entire work necessary to complete repairs, construction and roofing replacement of the original historic Milford District Library as described in the construction documents. The work shall include demolition, removal, and disposal of all existing layers of roofing materials, removal of certain fascia, inspection and removal of any compromised sheeting, installation of any necessary new sheeting, installation of roofing materials including asphalt shake shingles, wood and/or metal work installations of fascia, installation of a 3' ice/water vapor barrier around the perimeter of the roof, installation of synthetic felt vapor barrier covering the entire roof, replacement of all vents and new boots for all vent pipes. The work shall include all construction labor and materials, protective measures such as fencing and tarping, and clean-up as required to complete the project. Bidders may come to inspect the roof to give a more accurate bid during normal operation hours. Questions and Requests for Information will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. (Noon), Monday, May 8, 2023. The Milford District Library reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive informalities, irregularities, and/or errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law.
