the City reserves the right to: (1) waive any immaterial defect or informality; or (2) reject any or all proposals, or portions thereof; or (3) reissue the Request for Proposal The project estimate for the generator is $550,000 Questions relative to the development of a proposal are to be directed to Chris Huff, clhuff@battlecreekmi.gov. The status of proposals will not be discussed during the review process. The City of Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field will be replacing the air traffic control tower generator with a natural gas powered generator and replace the transfer switch equipment for the generator in the summer of 2023 The generator currently in use at the air traffic control tower is original to the 18 year old building. Upgrading the generator will allow for the most efficient technology to operate the system during unplanned outages. New air traffic control tower generators will eliminate the old technology currently being used and maximize the testing and functionality of the generator system
