The requirement of the Consultant under this scope of work is to manage, coordinate, prepare, and administer the development of an update to the District's annex LHMP that will be included in El Dorado County's MJLHMP. This scope and contract is intended to be inclusive of the entire LHMP update process from initial planning through completion of the project. The Consultant shall perform all necessary planning, administration, professional analysis, supporting documentation, and work required for the preparation and adoption of the District's Local Hazard Mitigation Plan in full conformance with the
requirements of the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000, 44 CFR 201.6 and the FEMA Local Mitigation Plan Guidelines. Being an annex to a MJLHMP some of these requirements may or may not be required to be in the District's LHMP. The District does not currently have the knowledge and or expertise to understand all of the FEMA and or Cal/OES requirements for this project and is relying on the consultant to educate the District and ensure the updated LHMP meets all relevant requirements. The objective of this solicitation is to identify a consultant to update the District's Local Hazard Mitigation Plan. The District has an existing plan which will need to be evaluated by the consultant and updated with current site conditions per scope of work below Consultant must also provide 2 examples of work performed for other District's or Municipalities in California which may be verified by the District Safety and Security Officer.
