As of June 28, 2024, construction is underway. The project includes a new culinary arts classroom, a science classroom, and support spaces including a restroom, custodial room, and electrical room. Bidders having any questions on the Project Documents shall submit their questions to the District's Construction Manager, RGM Kramer, Inc. via email,RDUSDbids@rgmkramer.com no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 16, 2023. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class "B" Contractor license at time of submittal of the bid, and shall maintain the license throughout the duration of the Project. No Contractor or Subcontractor may be listed on the Bid Form or Designation of Subcontractors Form for the Project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No Contractor or Subcontractor may be awarded a contract for the Project unless registered with DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR.
