Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Shepherd University is soliciting proposals for the replacement of the current exterior security camera and external building locks. Currently, Shepherd University's existing security cameras are internally and externally placed and ran by multiple DVRs and NVRS. Shepherd University is seeking to upgrade the external security cameras on campus that operate primarily on local, non-integrated DVRs and 62 (external) door access card readers that will be interfaced into a new system. To maximize the investment, existing access control (door controller, power supplies, cabling, etc.) and IP video components (cameras, encoders, power supplies, cabling, etc.) will be re-used where possible and integrated into the new security solution to include installation services.
