Renovation of an educational facility in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Per the owner, as of June 6, 2022, an award has been made for this solicitation. The owner states that a feasibility study was performed and the athletic department is currently fundraising for the full project at this time without any anticipated timeframe for construction. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ……………….. Shepherd University is soliciting expressions of interest for Architectural/Engineering Services to perform a structural analysis of the Boone Field House to determine the structural integrity to support a second level as per the attached renderings. If feasible architectural design services with associated cost estimates will be required. If not structurally sound, the AE firm would provide design services to expand the current Boone Field House in order to accommodate additional sports, coaches and other supporting entities. Shepherd University is also looking for a design services for a second building that would contain field sports. This facility would contain locker rooms, coach's offices, and a general, common area.
