Site work for a water / sewer project in Highland, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Description of Work: Removal and replacement of the existing 24'x25' concrete spillway on Old Highland City Lake. Regrading of downstream channel and the addition of filter fabric and rip rap. Copies of the contract and bidding documents for purpose of bidding may be obtained at the office of Curry & Associates Engineers, Inc., P.O. Box 246, 243 E. Elm, Nashville, IL 62263, (ph. 618- 327-8841), upon a non-refundable payment of $150.00 for each set. This is a 'Public Works Construction' Project as defined in the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act 820 ILCS 130. As such, all bidders shall account for in their bids and will be subject to the general prevailing wage rates for Madison County, Illinois, currently published and as amended from time to time by the Department of Labor. Prevailing rate of wages are revised by the Department of Labor and are available on the Department's official website.
