The Crowley Independent School District is inviting qualified vendors to submit a proposal to clean the interior of the kitchen exhaust systems districtwide including ducts and hoods for ovens, grills, and dishwashers in accordance with NFPA 96 fire codes. Additionally, please include the cleaning for all ceilings, floors, supply and return A/C Grills. The approximate quantity and manufacture of hoods, square footage of kitchens, type of ceiling and locations of the hoods are shown on Exhibit A located under the "Attachments Tab" of this RFP. All floors are ceramic tile. Depending on age of campus ceilings will either be drywall or lay in vinyl-covered gypsum. The District is requesting that this work be done during the upcoming Summer Break and preferably in the July 2024 and August 2024 timeframe. The awarded vendor will be required to provide any and all supplies and equipment to complete the services that are being requested. Qualified vendors will be required to remove dirt and grease from hoods using appropriate techniques such as brushes, pressure washers, and/or cleaning chemicals. Hot clean all floor surfaces, and clean ceilings and grills with general cleaning products. Submitted proposal must include a description of the contractor's preferred method for cleaning. Proposal must include a proposed schedule with start and end dates, and proposed working hours. Other elements of the scope of work include: Move in and set up, protect all other kitchen equipment Provide all necessary equipment for work Protection of the duct and hoods from damage Lockout/tag out of power and energy sources Clean or replace filters, clean plenums and ducts Install exhaust fan hinge kits where applicable Provide signage for access panels if missing Hot clean all flooring surfaces General cleaning of ceiling and A/C Supply and Return Grills/Registers included Remove all debris and general site clean-up Provide a full inspection report including completion date, condition of the systems, equipment model and tag information including manufacturer, style of filter (baffle or spark arrestor) and any applicable assessment of the condition of the system
