Site work for a water / sewer project in Ravenna, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Sealed paper bids or bids submitted electronically through Bid Express will be received until 11:00 a.m. Ohio time on May 25, 2023 at the Mayor s office at 210 Parkway in Ravenna and will then be opened and read for: Meridian and Murray Improvements. The proposed work under this Contract consists of approximately 1852 lineal feet of 8 and 6 water line replacement with new valves, hydrants, and services. The estimated cost for this project is $632,824. Copies of Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the City Engineer, 530 North Freedom Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266 but will not be available to purchase at this office. Registration with Bid Express is free and allows for the Bidder to review, download, and print all contract documents. A digital ID along with a per bid fee or a monthly subscription will be required for the Bidder to submit an electronic bid. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Portage County and the City of Ravenna, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614-644-2239.
