The US Forest Service, Superior National Forest has requirement for road construction and culvert replacement on the Gunflint Ranger District in Cook County, MN. This requirement is being solicited under Part 14 - Sealed Bidding, in conjunction with FAR Part 36, with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. One (1) award will be made, in accordance with the acquisition procedures established in FAR 14. Notice to Potential Offerors: NOTE 1: All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam/gov/ before award of contract; failure to register in the SAM database may cause your firm to be ineligible for the award and removed from consideration. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT : Between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000. The project is located on the Superior National Forest on the Gunflint Ranger District of FR 313 Shoe Lake Road. Directions to the project: From the city of Grand Marais, head north on the Gunflint Trail, turn right onto FR309 Greenwood Lake Road. After Aproximately 4 miles, the project location will be at the intersection of FR309 and FR 313. The period of performance is approximately June 1, 2024, through October 15th, 2024.
