PROJECT NO.: 21801.26 TASK 001 The Project consists of the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment to construct and ready for operation the work and all associated construction within the time stated and in strict accordance with the construction documents. Each bidder submitting a bid electronically shall include a cover document titled Bid: Restroom Renovations at Woolfolk Middle School and shall list the bidder's Company Name, Company Address and Certificate of Responsibility Number as part of its PDF bid submittal. Any electronic PDF bid that does not include the bidder's Certificate of Responsibility Number shall not be considered. 2. Sealed bids will be received at the Yazoo City Municipal School District at 1133 Calhoun Avenue, Yazoo City, Mississippi 39194. All sealed bids shall be marked on the outside face of the envelope "Bid: Restroom Renovations at Woolfolk Middle School and shall have the bidder's Company Name, Company Address and Certificate of Responsibility Number written on the outside of the envelope. If any envelope is not so marked, said bid shall not be opened or considered. Bid documents are being made available via paper copy or digital pdf. Plan holders are required to register and order bid documents at Bid documents are non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. No partial set of Documents will be issued. Selected plan rooms will be issued one (1) electronic copy without charge. Proposals must be submitted on the form as shown in the specifications and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid and as required by the Contract Documents. Performance and Payment Bond, in the full amount of the contract, will be required for contract security. The Contract or Contracts will be awarded to the lowest acceptable bidder, except that the Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Owner reserves the right to hold all bids for examination for a period not to exceed Thirty (30) days and to award the Contract based on the best bid. All Bids shall be in compliance and subject to Sections 31-3-15 and 31-3-21 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 as annotated and amended, and in all case law pertaining thereto. Complete the Work by November 27, 2023. Woolfolk Middle School - Taylor Building and Woolfolk Building as follows: 1. This AAC shall remove and dispose of all existing asbestos containing floor tile and mastic in the entrance to the restrooms and the water fountain area of the 1st and 2nd floors of the Taylor Building as shown on drawing AS-1. There are three layer of floor tiles in these areas to be abated. The AAC must use a low odor mastic remover similar to Grayling Industries' Zero Odorless Mastic Remover to remove all mastic form the floors. The AAC shall build mini enclosures for each location as described by OSHA. 2. This AAC shall remove and dispose of an 8" x 5'-10" strip of floor tiles near the wall at the water fountain area in the Woolfolk Building. See drawing A101. a.
