The engineer's estimate range is $705,000 to $779,000. The work to be done consists, in general, of pumping, hauling and properly disposing approximately 800,000 gallons of sludge and scarifying and hauling and properly disposing approximately 700 tons of soil from the bottom of the existing aeration sewer treatment pond. The County of Fresno affirms that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation. Bidders are advised that requirements for contracting with small and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are found in 2 CFR 200.321. This project is subject to the "Buy America" provisions of the Surface Transportation Assistance Act Of 1982 as amended by the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act Of 1991 and the OMB Memo M-22-11 effective May 14, 2022. This project is subject to the Cargo Preference Act and implementing regulations (46 CFR Part 381) to the Federal Highway Program.Electronic bids shall be submitted via the BidExpress website. Hardcopy bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Department and labeled with the name of the bidder, the name of the project and the statement "Do Not Open Until The Time Of Bid Opening."
