Demolition of the old Jail (Brick Jail not Historic Rock Jail) and removal of all remnants and debris from the property. Bidder needs to consider value of metal in the building when bidding. The Department of Finance reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities for the purpose of ensuring the award given is in the best interest of Bedford County. Any bids received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be returned to the bidder unopened. Prospective bidders may contact the bed ford county maintenance department at 931-684-6961 for any questions as to the specification of the bid.
