Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Hagerstown, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of July 13, 2023 project is awarded to SFMS, LLC (Bethesda, MD, awarded amount is $ 195,928.55 . This project entails the installation of a foundation pad for a future sculpture, concrete sidewalk, concrete paver walkways, lighting and electrical equipment, landscaping, an irrigation system, and related work. Contract documents and plans as prepared by the City ofHagerstown Engineering Department, which includes Drawing Series 08-309. Forty (40) working days is the length ofthe contract. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Liquidated damages are assessed at $300.00 per day. Funding for this project is through Federal Housing Urban Development and the Community Development Block Grant program and the City of Hagerstown. Wage rates and other requirements apply. The separate Bid Booklet attachment shall be completed by the Bidder & submitted as the Sealed Proposal. 10% Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check to be submitted with the Sealed Proposal. The successful Bidder shall submit a 100% Performance Bond and a Labor & Materials Payment Bond upon award of contract. Notice to Proceed will be issued in July 2023.
