Demolition, remodeling and renovation of an educational facility in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for the remodel of a educational facility.
General Trades Construction Contract - General construction work is required for remodeling of an existing aerobics studio/multipurpose room, adjacent storeroom and office into a computer gaming center with up to 25 computer stations, gaming tables, and console gaming centers. The work shall include selective demolition, new carpet flooring and resilient wall base, painting of existing and new wall surfaces, and a new suspended ceiling grid and acoustic clouds. Additional work includes modifications of existing hollow metal door frames into observation windows with black-out shades and hardware. Minor HVAC modification is included in the GC scope. The Owner reserves the right to reject all proposals and waive any minor informality in the pricing process in accordance with the law, if it is in the best interest of the Owner. Bonds: 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance & Payment Bonds are required. Question Deadline 05/19/2023 at 4:00 PM ET All bidding RFIs shall be made through online platform by the stated deadline and responded to within 3 days.
