Site work and renovation of a civil project in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project consists of replacing one chlorine feed injection point at the water treatment plant. The work will include furnishing all materials to replace one injection point, core boring a concrete wall, installation of piping, and demolition of a portion of the chlorine room concrete floor. Work is to occur during a planned plant shutdown to be scheduled by owner. Contractor work for the injection pipe installation may not be longer than eight hours. The time for the plant shutdown will be at a time to be predetermined by RAWA. The Contractor can visit the site, by scheduling an appointment with Pat Bauer, RAWA Superintendent (phone: 484-256-9797) , to review the chlorine system at the Maiden Creek Water Treatment Plant located at 108 Berkley Road, Reading, PA 19605. Prevailing wages are required for this project. The Reading Area Water Authority, Owner hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
