The Town of Pearl River (Town) is soliciting proposals from interested parties for PostDisaster Roadway Clearing (also referred to as The Push) following storm events for the 2023 Hurricane Season. Firms should have experience in performing and coordinating this type of work. The project consists of Roadway Clearing following storm events for the 2023 Hurricane Season. Firms must have experience in performing and coordinating this type of work. The work will include pushing storm debris from the main roadways immediately following the passage of a storm. Interested parties may obtain copies of the proposal document forms and specifications from Town Hall, 39460 Willis Alley, Pearl River, LA, at a cost of $25.00 per set. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Pearl River. Only proposals from firms securing proposal documents from Town Hall will be acknowledged. Each proposal must be contained in a sealed envelope and clearly marked: Proposal: 2023 Hurricane Season Post-Disaster Roadway Clearing (The Push) Louisiana Contractors License No. The schedule of contract items and unit prices provided in the bid proposal shall be used through May 31, 2024 with an option, if agreeable by both parties, for two separate one (1) year periods beginning June 1, 2024 and June 1, 2025. At the beginning of each new contract period, the unit prices shall be adjusted by a percentage amount equal to the new percentage change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the prior calendar year end or five percent (5%) which-ever is less. CPI to be used shall be from the unadjusted Consumer Price Index, All Urban consumers, (CPI) United States published by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. All proposals, bids and applications are welcomed. The Town encourages participation by Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms.
