A timeline for award has not yet been established.** It is St. Lucie County's Intent to award a contract to a qualified bidder to perform construction related services for the North Hutchinson Island Septic to Sewer project which includes but is not limited to approximately 9,800 LF of 4-inch diameter PVC, 6,200 LF of 6-inch diameter PVC, and 2,300 LF 8-inch diameter PVC for vacuum sewer; 2,600 LF of 6-inch diameter force main; 300 sewer laterals; 140 single vacuum pits; 80 double vacuum pits; one vacuum pump station. The 6-inch diameter PVC force main will connect the vacuum pump station to the North Hutchinson Island Wastewater Treatment Facility. The project will also include one lift station, 1,500 feet of 8-inch gravity sewer main and 1,600 feet of 2-inch force main with all associated appurtenances for the full and complete construction of the system as shown on the construction drawings and as permitted per County standards. Bonding Requirements All Bidders are required to submit a five percent (5%) Bid Bond with the Bid Form, or their bid shall be rejected as non-responsive.
