Description: Amtrak is planning in its FY24 to upgrade forty-five (45) HVAC units in communications huts and rooms in buildings located along the Amtrak corridor between New Haven, CT and Boston, MA. Currently, these units have reached the end of their useful life and require upgrading. The selected construction firm shall perform the work and construction required to install the HVAC units for each location. This work includes: 1. Remove existing units 2. Remove existing controls and wiring associated with units 3. Size and install new AC/Heat pump unit (excluding concrete work and connection) 4. Install new controls and wiring 5. Install new dial thermostat for existing heaters 6. Install supplementary electric heaters 7. Repair and seal openings Statement of Qualifications shall include: • Name of Firm (if a single entity) or Joint Venture Partners and significant subcontractors. • The Name, Title, and Contact information of the Authorized Representative / Single Point-of-Contact for the SOQ. • Presentation of resume / qualifications of Project Manager(s) demonstrating successful management of cross discipline, multi-year construction projects. • Demonstration of the firm’s successful experience in the construction / rehabilitation of railroad infrastructure projects over the past 10 years.
