The Contracts include emergency and maintenance work for Derry Township Municipal Authority (DTMA) owned utilities, including but not limited to DTMA`s existing sanitary sewer, storm water collection and conveyance systems to include repair of existing facilities, upon issuance of Work Order(s) by DTMA. The Work of Contract No. 2023-01 - Excavation is intended to include "dig-up" and "open cut" or "excavation" type maintenance work. The Work of Contract No. 2023-02 - Trenchless is intended to include "trenchless rehabilitation" type maintenance work. The Derry Township Municipal Authorityreserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Derry Township Municipal Authority, and to reject any or all proposals. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. Project Location: Derry Township, Conewago Township and Londonderry Township Hershey, Pennsylvania 17033 Construction Activities: Without intending to limit or restrict the extent of Work to be performed under the Contract, the Work includes dig up and excavation work as outlined below: 1. Internal cleaning of existing gravity sanitary sewer and storm water pipes, in various locations within the Owner's wastewater and storm sewer collection and conveyance system. 2. Internal closed-circuit televisual (CCTV) audio/video inspection of existing gravity sewers, in various locations within the Owner's wastewater and storm sewer collection and conveyance systems. 3. Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining of existing broken or otherwise damaged portions of existing gravity sewers, in various locations within the Owner's wastewater and storm sewer collection and conveyance systems. 4. Trenchless rehabilitation of existing in line structures including manholes and storm inlets in various locations within the Owner's wastewater and storm sewer collection and conveyance systemsincluding manhole lining and chimney sealing. The Maintenance Work shall conform to the requirements as specified in the appropriate Specifications Sections of this Project Manual or as specified in a Work Order Question Deadline 05/22/2023 at 4:00 PM ET
