Asbestos abatement and renovation of a residential development in Lynn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.

Buildings A and C replace existing Asphalt Shingles, Metal Flashing and underlayment. At Buildings A, B and C Front and Rear Entry Awnings replace existing Asphalt Shingles, Metal Flashing, underlayment and select awning wood trim as noted. At Building C Rear Entry replace one existing Awning framing and trim. Asbestos abatement at existing metal step flashing to be removed is required. complete within 45 consecutive calendar days. The work is estimated to cost $ 129,000.00 The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women. he work under the Contract consists of: Replace existing asphalt shingles and underlayment's at; building A and C including front and rear building entry awnings; building B front and rear building entry awnings; all attached mechanical, electrical and laundry room roof areas. The roofing scope of work excludes the building B main roof areas which are existing to remain (see 2 below.) At all building entry awnings replace trim pieces as noted in elevations (see 3 below.) At Building C Unit 330 rear entry replace the existing cantilevered wood entry awning including all new wood framing and associated interior and exterior finishes. At Buildings A, B and C building entry awnings The General Contractor shall: (i) Remove and legally dispose of existing wood cove moulding as indicated on the elevations. Furnish and install new pvc cove moulding (ii) Remove and legally dispose of existing wood trim as indicated on the elevations. Furnish and install new pvc trim (iii) Remove and legally dispose of existing painted plywood sheathing as indicated on the elevations. Furnish and install new painted plywood sheathing. (iv) Furnish and install new soffit vents as indicated (v) Patching and Repairs- Perform all necessary patching and repairs to the items scheduled to remain. At Building C unit 330 Rear Entry only the General Contractor shall: (i) Remove and legally dispose of existing and furnish and install new; cantilevered wood awning framing, trim and associated interior floor and ceiling finishes.
