Project Abbot School WWTF Painting Project The base bid work consists of; sandblasting and recoating the steel tanks housing the aerobic rotating biological contactor, and clarifier; sandblasting and recoating the steel catwalk and toeguards between the clarifier and biological reactor tank; replacement of biological reactor tank media, corroded metal treatment tank hardware and supports; replacement of rusted metal grating; and repairing concrete penetrations of biological reactor tank. Add alternatives consist of ; replacement of 3-inch actuator and butterfly valve, eye wash station, and installation of fall protection netting on outdoor effluent tank hatches. Replace steel gratings on catwalk between biological reactor and clarifier tanks. e. Remove and replace process piping mounting hardware and braces. f. Remove and replace RBC electrical box struts and floor fasteners. g. Repair Denitrification Filter PVC pipe concrete penetrations. h. Replace Denitrification Filter media in kind.
