Asbestos abatement and demolition of one decommissioned boiler at the South Boston Division of the BMC located at 535 East Broadway, South Boston, MA. 02127 Payment Bond Required. OSHA Certification Required. Prevailing Wage Work This project consists of removing asbestos-containing materials as necessary to complete demolition of one boiler that has been taken out of service. All waste generated will be removed from site for proper disposal except the interior boiler ribs and bricks used to construct the boiler's base. These materials will be decontaminated and left on site for future disposal. All work must be conducted in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Local requirements. Work cannot be conducted during the Courthouse's business hours. All workers must pass Trial Court CORI check. The Contractor may use facility water and electricity.
