Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Carol Stream, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; road / highway; for site work for a municipal facility; road / highway; for paving for a municipal facility; and road / highway.
The FY23/24 Public Works Exterior Site Improvement's scope of work consists of pavement improvements, new pavement areas, concrete retaining walls for material storage bins, and open air type storage bins with some locations with wood framed roofs. Other improvements include new site lighting, fencing and access gates. In accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Kluber, Inc. and WBK Engineering. The Village of Carol Stream has determined that the services to be provided hereunder are subject to the Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1-12. The successful Bidder shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12)
