All proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to City of Pascagoula, Attn: Michael Silverman, City Manager, 603 Watts Avenue, Pascagoula, Mississippi 39567. If a proposal is mailed, the mailing address is P.O. Drawer 908, MS 39568-0908. Please submit one (1) original and six (6) copies of your proposal. If any envelope is not so marked, any proposal contained therein will not be considered. All proposal envelopes should contain the firm's name, mailing address, and telephone number on the face of the envelope and also specify the name of the proposal item. The City of Pascagoula is seeking proposals for professional services that will include preliminary engineering and architectural design services necessary to have complete construction drawings and specification documents, which are ready for construction to build a new City Hall that supports the consolidation of services for City Hall, Planning & Building, and Utility Billing in addition to providing space for Main Street and the Singing River Art Association. Once construction designs, plans, and specifications are prepared, the city will separately seek bids for a general contractor for the construction services. The firm selected to provide preliminary engineering and architectural design services for City Hall will be responsible for providing construction administration for this project. City Hall representatives will provide a brief overview of the scope of work covered by the RFP, conduct a tour of the facilities, and answer questions. All are to meet in the City Hall Lobby at 603 Watts Avenue, Pascagoula, MS at 10:00 am.
