SCOPE STATEMENT OF WORK/NEED (SOW/SON) DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE (DOC) NATIONAL OCEANIC ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION (NOAA) NATIONAL MARINE FISHERIES SERVICE (NMFS) SOUTHEAST FISHERIES SCIENCE CENTER (SEFSC) GEAR MONITORING TEAM (GMT) Background: NOAA's Southeast Fisheries Science Center (SEFSC) located in Pascagoula, Mississippi seeks to purchase a permanent pole barn structure for weathered protection of the two new GMT 30' small boats. Objective: Provide labor and materials for one (1) permanent pole barn structure designed to fit two 30' vessels. The pole barn structure shall be as follows: Dimensions shall be 30'x40'x13'. The boat requires 13 feet of clearance. Galvalume roof with a slope of 4:12 Both sides shall be enclosed 6' from the top Exact location to be determined before construction. The construction will be on existing asphalt. Local building codes and wind ratings shall be met.
