This project requires 22% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0.035. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on July 26, 2023, at 10:00 AM the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Phase I engineering services are required to perform all work associated with the preparation of preliminary engineering and environmental studies (anticipated to be Categorical Exclusion/Project Reports) for the rehabilitation or reconstruction of up to five (5) bridges which may include or be similar to the bridge listed below. Phase I may include preparing complete bridge inspections and reports, data collection, preparation of base maps and mosaics, ground survey, crash analysis, traffic studies, traffic maintenance analysis, drainage studies, cost estimates and all other work necessary to complete Phase I. The following structure is included in this project, S.N. 016-2430: Kedzie Ave over CSXT RR and Wireton Rd, Cook County. The department will furnish the Consultant with any relevant and available information such as crash data, existing and projected traffic data, utility coordination, and right-of-way data, as well as archaeological, historical, wetland, and special waste survey coordination.
