This project requires 23% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on July 26, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Phase II engineering services are required for various Phase II land surveying projects throughout District One. The department will furnish the Consultant with the proposed ROW requirements from Programming/Design, proposed alignment data (preferably CADD file if available), current title commitments, existing ROW plats from P&P archives, checklist, and cover sheets. The Consultant's work shall include field and office resources to prepare statutory plats of highways (Plats of Excess Parcel, Easement, Dedication and Plats of Survey may also be requested), legal descriptions, title commitment review, preparation of Title Commitment Parcel Summary Sheets and field staking in accordance with the current Land Acquisition Policies and Procedures Manual. A copy of the current manual can be found on the IDOT website under Resources/Manuals & Guides. The Consultant must also have a current QA/QC plan in place to review internal work as well as assigned Subconsultant projects.
