The 17th Contracting Squadron is conducting a solicitation for Vent Hood and Duct System Cleaning Services at Goodfellow AFB, TX in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). This requirement will be solicited as a request for written quotation and evaluated under the procedures of FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition is a total set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS is 561790 and the small business size standard is $9.0 Million. Contractors must be registered at SAM.gov to conduct business with the Department of Defense. No award can be made to any company without this registration. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the solicitation instructions and is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Offerors are required to comply with the following instructions to be considered eligible for award: Evaluation Factors: Technical Technical acceptance will be evaluated upon vendors submittal of evidence they possess the certifications necessary by appropriate federal and state regulatory agencies to carry out vent hood and duct cleaning services to meet NFPA 96 per the PWS. Price Total evaluated price will be that sum of all CLINS and will be evaluated for fair and reasonableness prescribed in FAR Part 13. Offerors may submit their price quote on company letterhead to include the following: solicitation number, contact name, address, telephone number of the quoter, unit price, extended price, any discount terms, CAGE code, size of business, and acknowledgement of solicitation amendments, if required. Award Basis Award will be made to the lowest priced offer determined to provide a fair and reasonable price, and whose offer is deemed "TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE." Questions regarding this requirement will be due by 18 May 2023 at 3:30 PM CST. Answers will be posted to as an amendment to this solicitation by 19 May 2023.
