The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) requests proposals from companies/firms interested in providing backflow assembly testing services. Seeking to award a Primary and one or more Secondary contracts. EWEB reserves the right to waive any or all informalities and irregularities (EWEB Rule 3-0470) and may cancel the Request for Proposals or reject any or all proposals pursuant to EWEB Rule 3-0640. No proposal may be withdrawn after the hour set for the opening thereof until the elapse of thirty (30) days from the date and time set for opening Contractor no longer holds any license or certificate that is required to perform the Work Contractor shall send employee(s) providing work under this Contract to periodic Backflow Testing Service Providers meetings upon request by EWEB. No more than 14 calendar days shall be given for such meetings. The contract for this project (“Contract”) will start from the date of Contract execution (date signed by EWEB Purchasing Supervisor and Notice to Proceed is issued) and will last 5 years from that date, unless terminated earlier by either party by formal amendment signed by both parties. EWEB will assign each test in the EWEB backflow database such that the assignment will appear on the Tester’s online lists, allowing the Tester to enter test results online.
