PN- 22-146 The proposed project is located at the Northbound and Southbound McGuireville Rest Area in Yavapai County along Interstate 17 at Milepost 297. The work includes rehabilitating existing restroom buildings, rehabilitating water and wastewater systems, addressing components to meet ADA compliance, and other related work. All questions shall be submitted to the Department in a written format through the Bid Express (Bidx) website The time allowed for the completion of the work included in the Construction Phase of the contract will be 170 working days. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in the Landscape Establishment Phase of the contract will be 180 calendar days. The Arizona Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The minimum contract-specified goal for participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in the work, as a percentage of the total amount bid, shall be 7.45. All labor employed on this project shall be paid in accordance with the minimum wage rates shown in the General Wage Decision. These rates have been determined in accordance with the requirements of the law and issued by the Secretary of Labor for this project.
