The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on July 26, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Region Three/District Five Office in Paris. Phase I/II engineering services are required to provide Phase I and Phase II deliverables including a project report and final contract plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the 3P Designed Overlay of FAP 693 (IL 9) from Arrowsmith Rd to Ford Co Line in McLean County. The project scope includes a designed overlay of IL 9 with spot improvements for shoulder reconstruction, culvert extensions, and a culvert replacement. The Consultant’s Phase I work will consist of preparing a project report. This work may include data collection, cost estimates, traffic management analysis, traffic control plans, crash analysis, stakeholder meetings, field checks, and other related work items required to produce a project report. The Consultant’s Phase II work may consist of preliminary and final roadway plans, special provisions, estimates, ROW plats and plans, 3D model, and any other related work required to complete Phase II. The department will furnish the Consultant with traffic data, existing plans, environmental coordination, utility coordination, survey data, Open Roads Designer (ORD) files, inspection reports, and crash data when available.
