Label outside of envelopes Port Huron High School Track Resurfacing. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. The District will not consider or accept a bid received after this date and time. All proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend Each proposal must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security in the form of a certified check, cashiers check or standard form bid bond, made payable to the Port Huron Area School District in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid submitted. Failure of any accepted Bidder to enter into contract for the work will cause forfeit of his bid security. After contracts for the work have been signed, all bid securities will be returned. The winning bidder will have to furnish performance and labor & material payment bonds, the cost of which should be included in the project bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in bids, to reject any and/or all bids, in whole or in part, or to award any Contract to other than the low bidder, should it be deemed in the Owners best interest to do so. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
