To load and haul to a disposal site, provided by the bidder, spoils primarily consisting of dirt and clay within 10 days of the Notice to Proceed. This material is not classified as contaminated and is not required to be placed in a landfill. The spoils piles are confined into multiple containment areas at 1808 Bancroft Street. Only bins #2, #3 & #4, are to be removed. The containment areas are available for inspection. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The City of Port Huron reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or irregularities in the bid, and to accept any bid or portion thereof which is deemed most advantageous to the City's interest.
