The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to hire one contractor to furnish and deliver annual requirements of Class A Concrete on an as needed basis F.O.B. to any destination within the City of Suffolk limits in accordance with all specifications, terms, and conditions herein. This contract will cover all materials as needed by the Citys Public Works Department (primary user), Public Utilities Department, Parks and Recreation Department, or as requested by any other City department. A separate account must be set up for each department. All questions and/or comments should be directed to her at this email address: agardner@suffolkva.us. Prebid/Preproposal Conference: none The contract shall cover the period from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. The City reserves the option to renew this agreement for two (2) additional one-year periods ending June 30, 2026. Unless notified in writing thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date, the contract will automatically renew during these periods.
