The work to be performed shall include, but not be limited to: Upgrades to the traffic signal system in the cities of Irvine, Santa Ana, and Fountain Valley. Traffic signal system upgrades include video detection systems, CCTV systems, LED countdown pedestrian signal phase modules, pull boxes and conduit, traffic signal controllers, controller cabinets, ethernet switches, fiber optic cables, fiber distribution units, CAT5E cables, accessible pedestrian signal assemblies, wireless radio systems, Bluetooth travel time systems, fiber splice enclosures, SMFO cables, traffic signal controller cabinets and foundations, and service cabinets and foundations. The Project includes work with the Cities of Irvine, Santa Ana, and Fountain Valley. The contract will be with City of Irvine. However, the work in the City of Santa Ana and City of Fountain Valley should follow the Standards and Specifications for each agency, respectively.
