Work to be completed Summer 2023
Replace existing windows with Bronze Anodized framing and bronze LOW E Glass to
match other Boone Medical Group Buildings.
Provide dumpster.
Remove existing window casing and reinstall.
Add prime stained wood filler trim between the reinstalled casing and the new window
anodized frames.
Ensure all rough openings between the casing and window frame are finished with
wood stained to match existing casing.
Mud, tape and finish existing window tie into walls.
Finishing carpenter & replace interior window trim work if can't reuse existing.
The contractor will need to coordinate scheduling with the project manager and the
team will need to meet the needs of the tenants.
Weekend work in DaVita for 15 windows.
Project is prevailing wage.
Building permits are not required but the new windows must meet the 2018 standards for uvalue and solar heat gain coefficient.
Temporary barrier walls will be needed in suites and provide walk off mats to mitigate
dust and debris.
Job site must be cleaned daily.
Provide performance and payment bond.
Provide project supervision.
Subcontractors responsible for demo
The contractor will be responsible for moving furniture to provide access to exterior
walls. The hospital will be responsible for removing computers and personal items.
Staging can be done in parking lot across from Jack Estes
What take out must be put back the same day if not subcontractor to board up window.
Final clean of each suite.
Not all mullions will line up with the existing walls already in place.
Will need some Mullion Mattes or Mull-IT-Over closures.
